I'm a cybersecurity engineer and AI researcher based in Florianópolis, Brazil — currently working as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (BISO) at Mercado Livre, the largest e-commerce and fintech platform in Latin America. Before that, I spent time at Embraer working on product and process cybersecurity inside the Chief Engineer's Office, which meant thinking about security at the intersection of software, aviation systems, and certification.
I have a master's in Computer Science with a focus on systems security from UFSC, a degree in Computer Engineering from UFSM, and somewhere along the way picked up cloud architecture, DevSecOps, AI safety, and a Brazilian patent. My career has taken me across Brazil, Canada, and Russia — working with developers, C-levels, regulators, and everyone in between in Portuguese, English, and broken Spanish.
I write here about cybersecurity, AI, reverse engineering, and whatever else is rattling around my head. If it involves going deeper than the surface layer of something, it probably belongs here.
